The 9AN rechargeable flashlights incorporate two independent lamps in a single reflector to provide either a super-bright 140 lumens for 40 minutes, or, by rotating the bezel, 20 lumens of general illumination light for 2 hours. It is precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, finished in super rugged military specification Type III hard anodizing, and features an optically coated, tempered Pyrex lens window. The 9AN comes with two B90 batteries, a SmartCharger™ that uses microprocessor technology to protect the battery and charger from the voltage spikes typical of automotive and marine electrical systems, and an AC transformer and DC auto adaptor. The 9AN also features unique switching originally developed for law enforcement- twist for constant on, or depress the tailcap button for momentary illumination or emergency signaling.
